Civil Service/Bargaining Unit (CS/BU) Staff Award
Nominations are due in the college office no later than 12:00 Noon on April 21, 2008.

The CFANS Civil Service/Bargaining Unit (CS/BU) Staff Award recognizes the outstanding contributions of two members of the CS/BU staff; $1,500 [less taxes] and certificate.

Eligibility

All CS/BU staff in the College are elegible to be nominated for this award.

Nomination Procedure

  • An online nomination form completed by one or more persons making the nomination;
  • Two letters of recommendation

Evaluation Criteria

1.  Takes initiative:  Identifies and acts on problems or improves a situation in the work place.

2.  Contributes ideas/innovations: These ideas/innovations are for job improvement or improvement in some other aspect of the office/lab/department, etc.

3.  Positively influences morale:  By a cooperative spirit or helping attitude.

4.  Other:  You may also want to mention significant results achieved because of this individual’s contribution and/or other contributions this individual has made organizationally, to larger units, committees, etc.

Evaluation Procedure

The completed nomination packages will be reviewed by the College's Honors and Awards Committee. The committee will use the above criteria for selecting CS/BU Award recipients.

Presentation of Awards

The awards will be presented at the College Assembly on May 13, 2008.
