| | | Strategic Planning | In the Fall of 2007, the College launched two major strategic planning processes to position CFANS competitively at regional, national and international levels within the next decade.
Strategic Initiatives & Compact This process will determine future directions and priorities in research, teaching, extension and outreach around the four collegiate areas of focus: Bioeconomy, Biodiversity, Climate & Environmental Change, Food & Health. The resulting plan will drive funding for the college’s initiatives via the university’s compact process.
Undergraduate Education An emergent paradigm in agricultural and natural resource sciences to improve and sustain ecological and human health is reframing undergraduate education and related programs and services. These priorities will reveal a strategy of institutional change requiring innovative shifts in programs, organizational culture and campus-wide leadership.
