Greg Cuomo and the Facilities Coordinator are responsible for managing capital planning efforts within the college. They are also involved with space planning, space negotiations, facilities related reporting and collaboration with Capital Planning and Project Management and Facilities Management to keep our facilities up-to-date and running well.

Facilities Resources
Maintenance and Repair
Facilities Management is responsible for performing maintenance and repair for campus buildings. Your "first call" for these services should be to the Facilities Management Call Center 612-624-2900 or e-mail at (fmcc@umn.edu). You should expect a response within 24 hours to your requests.
Remodeling Projects
Please inform Greg Cuomo of any remodeling project, large or small, to help facilitate.
NOTE: If estimates reach $100,000 or more, Regent's approval is required. This normally takes at least two months before any work can begin.
Capital Requests
Major building renovations and new buildings are incorporated into Central Administration's six-year planning process with significant input from colleges. Greg Cuomo and the Facilities Coordinator coordinate capital planning efforts for the College.
Space Planning
CFANS Capital Planning and Facilities is available to assist with space planning to accommodate program needs. They can consult on improving use of currently assigned space or assist in finding alternative solutions to space issues. If you wish to request space please complete a CFANS Space Request and it will be sent to Greg Cuomo for review.
Classrooms
The Office of Classroom Management is charged with maintenance and upgrading of centrally-scheduled classrooms. Please contact Greg Cuomo if you need further assistance or have special needs.
